We have adopting a new spelling program. It focuses more on teaching new words and using core words(or high frequency words) to help students become successful spellers.

Vocabulary 01/06-01/10
rhythm- the pattern of sound in a poem
rhyme- when two words have the same end sound
stanza- the sections that poems are divided into; also known as verses
repetition- when words; phrases, lines, or stanzas are repeated
